I am finalising a paper which will be published here on this page when completed, in the hope that other Percies will be able to compare their own findings with mine.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">In the meantime my Percy DNA profile has been found specifically in some families (to name a few) in Northumberland, Yorkshire, Lincolnshire, Sussex, Normandy, Belgium and Norway.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">An archaeological dig will be started in late August 2015 on an early Percy burial site in England and Normandy so please watch this space.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The Under Construction Site Notice will remain until then.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">November 2015 Update:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">New evidence will be forthcoming during 2016 backing a claim that a Percy male ancestor of our family has has been discovered who is a direct descendant of the 2nd Earl of Northumberland.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">The report from Leicester University on the results of the discovery and confirmation of the burial site of King Richard III makes fascinating reading. The inclusion of the Percy Family says a \u00a0great deal due to the discovery of the DNA factors going back to John of Gaunt a cousin of the second House of Percy. Please go to the link herewith for further information and find the <em><strong>New Evidence<\/strong><\/em> Tab. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.le.ac.uk\/richardiii\/\">Richard III DNA<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">My own DNA has been tested by Dr Turi King at Leicester University with some exciting revelations. These will be revealed when further comparisons are completed.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: verdana, geneva, sans-serif; font-size: 12pt;\">Good progress has been made on research into the DNA and genealogy of several branches of the old Percies and DNA matches have been found that are currently being researched in detail and should be able to be published later in the year. Preliminary results suggest that living male descendants of William de Percy (1067) and Josceline de Louvaine (Percy) are in existence in the UK, USA, Australia and New Zealand.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">Update 6th February 2018. &#8211;\u00a0<\/span><\/strong><span style=\"font-size: 12pt;\">The above mentioned research has taken an exciting turn of events.
